Hey, I was just looking at the scoot.net calendar and at the MCSD6 blurb. It says: MCSD6 and under it:

Save the dates edited details to follow.
1965 SS180 raffle bike.

I was thinking maybe since it's close to the rally, whoever has control of the entry might enter details and the rally description and just sex it up a bit.

1) I think i put that up...i can't remember. Either way, it's not something you can change. You have to put up a new one, and request the old one removed...which may or may not happen because Bill is slow.

2) I'm sorry to say that i might be out for the Detroit rally. I just found out that because i'm going to Bogota, Colombia in August, my company needs to send me to Philadelphia the weekend of the Detroit rally on business. This is terrible news for me, and i know if i wasn't going to South America the two following weekends, my trip would have been scheduled on one of those weekends instead. So, if needed, blame Colombia for my absence.

There's perhaps a 15% chance that they will push the Philly trip i need to go on back to the end of August, and then i'll come to Detroit.

I tried on three separate occasions to submit a full description to Scoot.net and either I failed (possible, not likely) or something else happened. It's sad, but it seems like a VERY part time operations (labor of love perhaps?) Maybe someone can have better luck than I did in updating it. I'm rocking the MV and MB as well, no problem with updates there, it seems.

Very sad to hear that you might not make it, E! You'll be missing a good one (we hope). Send Melissa, anyway 8-)

We'll have a list with everyone's names who pre-reg'd. You don't need to bring a receipt.

I registered the other day & I usually bring my paypal reciept. One year my name was left off the list of payed registrants by mistake. Since you all know me, I didn't actually need to dig it out of course, but I would tell people to bring a receipt, just in case. Mistakes happen.

Quincy. The City of Presidents! And the northeast's largest concentration of assholes living in an urban area who still insist on driving giant pickup trucks.

Riding an LX150... I rode my p200 to Cleveland 2 years ago and it took me 25 hours over 2 days including stops. I'm confident I'll be rolling into Detroit late friday night. Its only about 750 miles.

Find me when you get there and I will buy you and your GF a beer! That's a bloody great distance on a 150! I don't know if they have seat cushions at the Magic Stick, but I'll look around for some for ya!

Thanks for making the trip, everybody! You are going to have a blast.

Ask any questions here and we'll do our best to answer them, or at least give you a witty response. It's what we do.

Mine of course - silly boy!!!!!

If Julie doesn't find someone willing to ride her as a cuppycake - she's invited to spend the day with ME!!!! Of course we would hook up at all the stopping points to check in with the gang! Not as much fun as riding.........but...........

Oh Snap, Vezpa and Adidas will be there. I just pre-registered.

I have to show you fools how to party and take my new SS Home.

This will be only my 2nd "official" rally and I'm coming from the Chi and staying at the Travelodge on Woodward.

Looking forward to this Rally !

welcome to the motor city, vezpa.

I will be there today but my GTS won't. I found a few extra broken pieces when putting it together after the valet knocked it over 2 weeks ago and I can't get it done in time. I'm not going to bring it 1/2 assed so I will be there on my black 2009 S150. Look for the Illinois plate and Vespa sticker on the front windshield to know if its me. I haven't ridden a 150 in a while so this should be quite an experience. A big dude on a monkey bike.

I'm getting ready to leave here in about an hour. Se you guys later tonight.
